I regularly give keynotes and master classes and enjoy these opportunities to share knowledge and explore new thinking with audiences. Please reach out to me if you are interested in having me speak to your team or at your event about my work and lessons learned at the crossroads of tech and storytelling.
In cleaning out some files, I came across the slides for a talk I gave at Culture Crush in Dublin, back in November 2023. The topic of the conference was about the collision between creativity and technology, and I gave a brief overview of ways I’ve explored this through my career. This was just before I started my assignment working with Meta on AI Characters and storytelling.
You can download the PPT deck here – it’s big file with a couple of embedded videos. Switch the presenter notes on to read my talk with the slides, as they are light on content without my verbiage.
Below is a link to download the deck for a talk I gave at CartoonNext Marseille in April 2025, giving an overview of changes in AI video gen over the previous year and demo’ing how to use an AI Character as part of a story development process. Unfortunately, the demo was live so was not preserved. This one is more self-explanatory and is obviously a snapshot in time, as advances keep coming in the gen AI space.
